We became the new Oxford Policy Management (OPM) web partner in 2002, when they put the redevelopment of their site out to tender.
Mission
Torchbox were contracted to redesign and redevlop the OPM site and to add a CMS to drive it. We were charged with invigorating what is a specialist site without a great deal of visual imagery.
Solution
We implemented RationalMedia and redesigned the site. Our focus during the information design phase was to integrate information from around the site, thereby facilitating issue-based lateral navigation as well as tradition silo-structured linear navigation.
We also promoted the humanisation of this site, bringing the real currency behind the organisation - the business knowledge in its techical staff - to the forefront of the site.
