Project management
Good project management is the key to successful developments. Thanks to our ability to manage website development and software development projects Torchbox has an excellent track record of delivering projects on time and to budget.
Methodology
Our Project Management methodology is a synthesis of home grown common sensical approaches and extablished methodologies including UML, PRINCE2, and the RAD approach. We are proud to have two formally accredited PRINCE2 Practitioners on the team.
We take the value of formal project management approaches and temper them with the lessons we have learned to create the right approach for each project. We focus on developing well thought-out, well tested, well structured, high impact developments, while maintaining cost effectiveness.
Tools
Alongside the traditional project management tools, we use archived email lists for all discussions and change control, BERT for ticket tracking during testing, a web-based emotional response tool for testing design prototypes, and we produce weekly reports - tracking progress, targets, and issues.
