Working with EMMLAC

In January 2005, RationalMedia was selected by the East Midlands Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (EMMLAC) as the content management system best equipped to power their portfolio of websites.

We are very excited to be working with the team at EMMLAC on the migration of their existing sites to RationalMedia, together with the development of a third, new site to promote greater links between museums and schools.

Working with EMMLAC gives us the opportunity to share our practical experience of implementing complex taxonomies and classification systems in RationalMedia. With a best practice approach to accessibility, the potential for future interoperability through RationalMedia's use of XML, and Dublin Core/eGMS metadata, we're looking forward to helping EMMLAC produce exemplary sites.
