Breakthrough Generations launch
10 September 2004
On September 2nd 2004, working with Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Institute of Cancer Research, we launched an important website for the Breakthrough Generations Study, a unique, ambitious and decades-long investigation into the causes of breast cancer.
The study aims to, "carry out a unique, dedicated examination of the genetic, environmental, behavioural and hormonal factors thought to influence the risk of developing what is the UK's most common cancer in women."
The website is a key recruitment tool and will play a major part in helping achieve the study's aim of recruiting more than 100,000 UK women aged 18 and over to take part in the study.
This recruitment drive has got off to a flying start with over 20,000 information packs requested online in the first few days!
We are very proud to be involved in such a significant study, and are looking forward to continuing our work with the team at Breakthrough Breast Cancer on the redevelopment of their main organisational website.
